Catholic Mariology refers to Mariology – the systematic study of the person of Mary, mother of Jesus, and of her place in the Economy of Salvation – within Catholic is seen as having a singular dignity above the saints. The Catholic Church teaches that she was conceived without original sin, therefore receiving a higher level of veneration than all other saints. Doctrine and dogma, the explication and officially acceptable version of a religious development of doctrines and dogmas has significantly affected the traditions, institutions, and practices of the religions of the world. Doctrines and dogmas also have influenced and been influenced by the ongoing development of secular history, science, and philosophy.

The book of Acts makes no mention of the founding of this church. According to Acts , Paul passed through the region of Mysia, where Pergamum was located, on his second missionary journey, but there is no record that Paul either preached the gospel or founded a church .   In fact, Paul was so desperate to see the Christians in Rome that he used his rights as a Roman citizen to appeal to Caesar after being arrested by Roman officials in Jerusalem (see Acts ). Paul was sent to Rome and spent several years in a house prison -- years he used to train church leaders and Christians within the city.

The unbiblical beliefs and practices of the Roman Catholic Church have often given the enemies of Christ opportunity to blaspheme. The Roman Catholic Church is not the church that Jesus Christ established. It is not a church that is based on the teachings of the Apostles (as described in the Book of Acts and the New Testament epistles). Churches of Christ are autonomous Christian congregations associated with one another through distinct beliefs and practices based on biblical examples. Represented in the United States and one of several branches across the world, they use only biblical precedents for their doctrine and practices citing examples from the early Christian church as described in the New Testament.

The Catholic Church makes tradition above or equal to Scripture, but in actuality many of its traditions actually stem from pagan sun teachings, beliefs and practices come from Mithraism—a form of paganism that existed in Babylonian times.

These pagan practices are symbols of apostasy against God. Of this, the Twentieth Century Encyclopedia of Catholicism says the following. According to the Catholic tradition, the history of the Catholic Church begins with Jesus Christ and his teachings (c.
